The University of Miami is looking for a Research Associate 1 to join the Department of Psychology in the College of Arts & Sciences. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field. Experience with programming and data collection in cognitive neuroscience measures is a plus. The role involves coordinating research projects, experimental programming, data analysis, and data collection. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and in a team-based research environment. The responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and analyzing research activities, ensuring good research practices are followed, and participating in the dissemination of research results. The Research Associate will also support IRB processes, provide guidance to research assistants, manage lab functions, and assist with grant reports and preparation of manuscripts and presentations.
