Job Summary

HR Planning Analyst will support several critical CEMEX USA Talent Planning processes, including but not limited to: Talent Review, Succession Planning, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Planning & Talent analytics, Planning and Development Budget, etc.

Job Responsibilities
  • Meet content preparation and support (HR Planning and Development, HR Foundations, Engagement, and others)
  • Responsible to drive deployment strategy, program evaluation, budget management, program materials across the US
  • Evaluate data and metrics to assess performance and results
  • Maintain SharePoint site content to ensure documentation is relevant and up to date
  • Support the tracking and reporting of succession planning execution
  • Analyze workforce trends and provide insight into company strengths and opportunities
  • Support the development, launch, and analysis of the annual employee Engagement Survey
  • Support internal customers field HR in Planning and Development initiatives with exceptional customer experience
  • Prepare presentations and present data analysis to target audiences
  • Ensure compiled data is accurate and has been validated
  • Assist in the analysis of Turnover and Attrition
  • Compile analytics to gauge participation of Planning and Development initiatives. Propose ways to increase participation
  • Recommend processes, tools and best practices to roll out content in an effective and efficient mode
  • Work with external vendors as needed
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Analytics & Data Science, Human Resources or related field
  • 3+ years of working experience with data analysis, business planning and organizational planning.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Excel including Macro & Pivot Table, PowerPoint, Word, Etc)
  • Proficient in data analytics tools such a Power BI, Tableau, etc
  • Experience with analytical tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to track, measure and analyze data/results and key metrics
  • Strong project management, planning, and people skills
  • Strong project management, organizational skills and planning skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Team player, able take a leadership role in dealing effectively with various internal and external teams/departments
  • Understanding of operations in a manufacturing environment

  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision

Working Conditions
  • Capability to work extended hours, including some weekends as necessary
  • Ability to work with standard office/computer equipment
  • At times, requires working in hot, dusty, or wet conditions with exposure to loud noise with occasional physical labor at times.

Physical Requirements
  • Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of time
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors
