Overview of the Role:
Position supports the Accounts Receivable department in all aspects of cash management. This position assists in the AR function and reports results to management in order to help understand results and utilize information to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the department's daily activities.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Regular attendance and punctuality required.
  • Lead chargeback investigation and dispute process, including cross departmental coordination.
  • Main point of contact and liaison with Customer Compliance, Customer Care, Warehouse, Customers, Sales, among others to ensure timely investigation and resolution of charge-back disputes.
  • Lead tracking of chargebacks through the end-to-end process and ensure steps are being completed according to our processes and procedures, including but not limited to Root Cause Analysis, Cost Benefit Analysis and Dispute Escalation.
  • Track and periodically report out AR KPI's to senior executives.
  • Resolution process and policing accounts for deduction abuse.
  • Facilitate accurate and time sensitive cash application and deduction resolution.
  • Accounts Receivable reporting and analysis
  • Reconcile and report daily cash activity.
  • Performs audits of cash application
  • Implementation and enforcement of AR controls to ensure accurate accounting to the General Ledger
  • Reconciliation of customer accounts
  • Customer relations
  • Dunning and collection of delinquent accounts
  • Accurate recording of conformance codes through the cash application and deduction
  • Manage special projects, delegate segments and track results for reporting.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Successful Candidate Profile:

  • Strong PC & system skills: proficiency in MS excel & MS word required
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Strong organization, communication & administrative skills
  • Results oriented, ability to think & work independently
  • Flexible team player, performs in both leader & follower roles
  • Capable of managing multiple projects
  • Ability to work under deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of basic financial/accounting practices
  • College degree required
  • 3-4 years of Accounts Receivable experience required
