Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon Web Services within large enterprises

Broad responsibilities will include:

owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects, working cross-organizationally to facilitate widespread use and adoption of the AWS platform, and developing a deep expertise in the AWS technologies as well as broad know-how around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform.

The ideal candidate will possess customer facing, grit and technology skills that will allow them to represent AWS well within the customer's environment and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation.

You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • 6+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
  • 6+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in a technical role within a sales organization
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
  • Energy Industry Experience (including Energy Manufacturing, Products & Services, Oil & Gas, Utilities)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.

The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
