Requirements:

  • 5+ years' of Tooling Design Experience
o Aerospace Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) experience is a BIG plus

  • 5 years of experience using 3D modeling CAD software, including with Siemens NX
  • Experience using TeamCenter software as a PLM
  • Working knowledge of Engineering Drawings and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Experience conducting design reviews.
  • A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
Nice to have:

  • Experience creating manufacturing drawings or 3D model annotation.
  • Experience with composite materials
Responsibilities
:

  • Design and develop new tools, tooling, gauging, and other tooling aids to support production operations.
  • Create designs and drawings using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.
  • Analize tooling performance and adjust designs accordingly to improve performance.
  • Design tooling for CNC machining, turning, and additive manufacturing methods.
  • Review technical manufacturing specifications to determine tooling requirements.
  • Evaluate tooling/gauge/aid performance to determine for-use worthiness.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal and external vendors during tooling fabrication.
