IT Technician Level I

Addresses and resolves routine user issues including unlocking accounts and resetting passwords.
Provides initial end user computer hardware and software support.
Ensures proper installation and configuration of all assigned equipment.
Ensures proper installation and configuration of all casino software products.
Assists with the installation and cabling of new voice and data connections and related equipment.
Performs regular inspections and routine maintenance for data rooms including data switches, connections, and related equipment.
Assists with upgrades, new system builds, and workstation maintenance.
Ensures all IT equipment meets Casino standards.
Assists in maintaining inventory of IT equipment and related media.
Repairs and services all equipment as needed.
Provides initial emergency and on call support.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. Associate's degree in Computer Science or related training in a technology related discipline preferred. At least one year of experience in an MIS environment for a company of comparable size and MIS needs. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot computer software and hardware issues, setup, network, and maintain POS systems. Additional education or related experience may substitute for the minimum requirements of the position.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays Must be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen and obtain a Class IIIB license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
