JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The employee will be working as a researcher, engineer, and treasurer of the agricultural robotics club and developing the vision part of the ASABE (American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineering) Robots we are developing for the competition later this year. Duties include:

  • manage funding and purchasing required components
  • assist with developing the algorithm for the robot's vision system
  • calibrate, troubleshoot, inspect, and operate the robot
  • work as part of a test project support team
