JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Agricultural Economics, Sociology, and Education is seeking a Part-Time Research Assistant to collaborate with Rural Sociology faculty on a study titled "An Examination of Emergency Food Supply and Distribution in Rural Pennsylvania". This study aims to assess the capacity of the food safety net to meet the hunger needs of residents in rural Pennsylvania. Primary responsibilities will include conducting in-depth interviews with local hunger-relief organizations in Pennsylvania and residents who utilize these services for food assistance. Secondary responsibilities may include coding interviews, writing memos about the interviews, and conducting literature reviews.
