Branch & Insurance Specialist

In this role you will:

- Provide exceptional service to members in branch and over the phone regarding insurance policies, membership and insurance billing, and other services for members including passport photos, planning road trips, and cashiering duties.
- Perform routine and advanced duties in support of agents and other team members
- Develop insurance leads for office sales agents and life specialists
Our branch hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM and Saturday 9:00AM-1:00PM. If scheduled to work on a Saturday, you will receive a 1/2 day off during the week. We are closed Sundays and most holidays.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Prior experience in insurance, retail sales, banking or similar customer service/sales environment
- Advanced customer service skills
- Ability to work overtime including Saturdays
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office basics
- Proven ability to exceed assigned sales or service quality goals
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Adaptability to change and ability to meet deadlines
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
Successful completion of background check and drug screening
Ability to navigate Windows, Outlook, Word, and the Internet
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience in customer service environment helpful
Ability to exceed assigned service quality goals
