Job Summary:
As a part of the Commercial Connectivity team, you will provide support and guidance through data for critical business programs driving our Connectivity Strategy. You will model data using ETL processes, made visible through our BI tools, which are used by our dealer network to drive their daily connectivity work. You will work with cross-functional global teams to drive strategy and execution.
What You Will Do:

  • Work together with team members to accomplish business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain large complex ETL Models combining multiple sources together.
  • Develop ad-hoc queries, analyzing and sending reports to internal business partners and team members.
  • Develop and maintain complex Tableau dashboards.

Cloud Computing:

  • Knowledge of the concepts, technologies and services of cloud computing with preference working with Snowflake or Azure.

ETL Process:

  • Knowledge of the extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) process; ability to develop a database through the ETL process.
  • Derives necessary business or technical information from original data.
  • Acquires a large amount of data from different sources/systems.

Information Management:

  • Ability to collect and manage information from different sources, and distribute this information to enhance operational efficiency.

Modeling:

  • Participates in reviews and walkthroughs of data platforms and BI tool features and capabilities.
  • Prepares reports to recap current findings and issues in data, processes or event models.

Considerations For Top Candidates:
Database Design (Physical):

  • Knowledge of database systems; ability to establish a data model for designing an organization's database that runs effectively and efficiently for better business outcome.
  • Experience creating SQL queries
  • Experience working with BI tools such as Tableau
  • Experience working with Alteryx
    .
