Project Assistant

AES Clean Energy (AES) is seeking a Wind Development Project Assistant to support project development efforts as a member of AES's Wind Team. The Wind Team is responsible for internal origination, development, and execution of wind projects throughout the country. The successful candidate will support day-to-day project development activities as well as due diligence efforts.
This position will be based in Louisville, CO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the development team, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response.
- Provides a bridge for smooth communication between internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff.
- Maintain a calendar of operations events and support team in ensuring they are executed effectively.
- Coordinate with real estate title professional to draft site control documents (wind leases and options to lease).
- Coordinate with the team to create and maintain purchase orders and invoices
- Manage administration of all site control documents.
- Maintain processes relevant to general business operations within the Wind team.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software with strong Excel skills
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated, very self-reliant, and capable of operating with minimum supervision.
- Strong time management skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to produce accurate work under deadline.
- Great teammate with strong initiative.
- Pleasant phone demeanor and ability to craft strong written correspondence.
- Punctual and reliable.
- SAP Accounting Software knowledge and experience a plus.
- Real Estate knowledge and experience a plus.
- Strong work tenure: 2 - 5 years of experience supporting senior management.
