Description: Our client is currently seeking a Senior Sensor Electronics Engineer
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
- 7+ years of experience in the design and development of analog and mixed signal circuitry and systems.
- 3+ years of experience in design, integration, and/or testing of sensors, preferably inertial sensors and sensor systems.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and printed circuit board layout.
- Ability to perform circuit simulation using Spice or variants.
- Experience with system modeling and analysis using MATLAB, Simulink, or other comparable tools.
Expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Low-noise electronics
- Analog-digital conversion
- Methods of synchronous detection
- Analog and digital signal processing
- Phase-locked loops
- Motor control and drive circuits
- Microelectronics development experience, including system-level modeling, hardware design, and testing.
- Experience with component selection and design of electronic hardware for space and/or hostile radiation environments.
- Familiarity with discrete semiconductor devices such as MOSFETs, IGBTs, BJTs, JFETs, and diodes.
- Knowledge of design for harsh physical and electromagnetic environments, as embodied in military standards like MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-810.
- Understanding of system grounding/shielding and EMI mitigation techniques.
- Security Requirement: Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
