Children's Home & LSS is seeking a part-time program specialist to provide administrative support for Foster Care Adoption billing duties. We are a dynamic social service organization serving children, youth and families, people with disabilities, older adults and military veterans. Work closely with managers and adoption workers to provide a broad range of support to assigned programs within the Adoption & Pregnancy Services units, including administrative functions, clerical functions and client services.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; High School Diploma and 5 years or Associate's Degree and 2 years of related experience
  • Experience with adoption or social service related content for diverse mediums and for diverse audiences preferred;
  • Ability to forge a mutually respectful partnership with persons served and their families;
  • Sensitivity to adoption community is required;
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Strong ability to work independently, be organized and multi-task;
  • Ability to work with and advocate for all clients served, regardless of race, religion, disability, sexual orientation or family type.
