Virginia Mason is looking for a BE/BC General Neurologist, with a specialty interest being welcome to apply.
ResponsibilitiesThe Outpatient Neurology Department at Virginia Mason is made up of 11 Neurologists who treat patients with a variety of neurological conditions. As a part of the Neurosciences Institute, we provide integrated care alongside neurosurgery, neuropsychology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and the inpatient neuro-hospitalist service. Our work environment promotes collaboration and includes activities like bi-monthly journal club, neuro-radiology conference, neurovascular conference, neuro-oncology tumor board, and research in partnership with the Benaroya Research Institute. Being a teaching hospital, we welcome Internal Medicine residents and medical students from the University of Washington. Resources such as a PhD research program manager, clinical pharmacist, RN case management, and social worker are available. This position entails outpatient call duties only and is based at our Seattle downtown campus. Outpatient call responsibilities are shared among all Neurologists.
Qualifications- BE/BC in Neurology
- Applicants with fellowship training in EEG or EMG or other subspecialties are welcome to apply
- Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA
- Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority necessary for specific practice
- BLS required
