MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society is seeking a highly skilled Neurology Specialist to join our team. As an Epilepsy Care Physician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and management of complex neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough medical and surgical workups for patients with epilepsy
- Interpret EEG, LTM, and rapid EEG readings
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
- Participate in call rotations, including weekends
- Expertise in surgical candidacy, chronic epilepsy medical management, VEEG monitoring, and adult and pediatric EEG interpretation
- Strong knowledge of brain mapping, neurostimulator candidate evaluation, and device management
- Ability to manage general neurology cases, including uncomplicated headache, back pain, and movement disorder management
