  • Analyzes strategic needs of the company's development, required skills of its employees and teams Organizational Changes. Supports and manages Culture Development as well as Diversity Management
  • Plans the implementation and facilitation of activities and events, budget spending, material production and distribution, and other resources to ensure that operations are managed within authorized budgets.
  • Conducts Talent Management Conferences / Talent Review Meetings
  • Plans the implementation of initiatives and strategies, budget spending, human resources management including cost and overtime, to ensure that operations are managed within authorized budgets.
  • Drives growth culture trough Talent Development and Organizational Development processes.
  • Challenges and consults the organization regarding Performance and Talent Management, including conducting Talent Management Conferences and development actions.
  • Identifies training and development needs within organization through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers
  • Develops, implements and steers target group - oriented development initiatives and Competency Management in line with Corporate standards, based on the needs of the organization and the individual
  • Steers actions in training department to comply with Quality of training and efficiency of internal processes to support business needs.
  • Steers On boarding and training Strategy
  • Defines actions to support Diversity Management in the location
  • Defines with managers initiatives to ensure growth culture and career development is stablished through TMOD process
  • Actively steers and manages Career / Succession Planning and Retention initiatives
  • Consults management, HR BPs and employees on all TMOD related matters. Establishes and maintains relationships with department leadership teams to support development planning and succession planning at this level
  • Ensures a standardized training program is established, implemented and updated
  • Develops the connection with other organizations and education institutes to partner on development and training initiatives.
  • Approves performance indicators and assign projects to Trainers to guarantee competency of hourly and non-exempt employees to support business operation and guarantee ISO certification and Original Equipment customer requirements.
  • Keeps a close communication with department managers to define training direction that support the organization, including translating into specific department actions.
  • Consults the organization in all related HR IT Systems: HR IT Operations & User Support (e.g. mySuccess); HR Process Management; Conti Idea Management
  • Partners with employees and management to communicate various HR related procedures, policies, laws, standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provides coaching to managers ensuring timely and effective execution of all local operational HR related processes and policies.
  • Advises area managers on applying progressive discipline actions and employee relations investigations.
  • Develops strategies and processes to ensure all HR goals and objectives are communicated, executed, and achieved
  • Issue procedures and work instructions, ensure implementation of measures, and maintain controls
  • Raise awareness, ensure regular ESH training and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties
  • Ensure immediate notification and response, and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazards
  • Demonstrate exemplary personal behavior in ESH and motivate others
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 2 years leadership experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • Continental is able to offer visa support and relocation for internal candidates.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree Preferred
  • 7+ years relevant experience preferred
