The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Outbound Group Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping to drive and enhance customer adoption, product fit, and overall satisfaction of our current and future data driven mobility products and solutions within our insurance segment. In order to be effective and successful in this position, the role requires a deep understanding of the auto insurance industry, competitive landscape, and insurance business customer needs. This also includes experience and expertise related to insurance data products, including personal lines telematics solutions. The individual in this role also needs to be able to effectively collaborate cross functionally across the organization, particularly with Sales, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and with other product managers. You must have a strong technical and analytical background and be able to think holistically about opportunities on how our valuable data can be used to drive business value for insurance companies. You will be involved in continuing to shape the strategic product vision, ensuring focus on relevant solutions, and advocating for new products and features, as well as helping to ensure effective product launches that promote successful adoption by customers.
Responsibilities:

  • Help create integrated solutions for our customers that maximize value for customers and Arity.
  • Support Arity's product roadmap definition to create new value and optimize industry adoption.
  • Define pathways to help customers find the best product fit for their market and business needs amongst our diverse set of products.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to plan and execute an integrated marketing plan to support market awareness and adoption of our products.
  • Work with Customer Success to define more efficient customer onboarding processes, and setup effective reporting processes to track critical KPIs and measure performance.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to help existing customers effectively migrate to new and enhanced products and solutions, anticipating internal insurance company workstreams.
  • Partner with Sales to support the team with product expertise, help create and deliver product sales training, and help implement processes for efficient product evaluation by prospects.
  • Engage with customers to gather insights and validate product features and positioning. Also, build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers.

Required Qualifications

  • Auto insurance experience includes extensive work with insurance data products, particularly auto telematics data for underwriting, pricing, and analytics purposes.
  • Auto telematics experience with developing and launching new technical capabilities, spanning from feature definition, user stories, UAT testing, and post launch monitoring.
  • Telematics program management experience with cross-functional collaboration across sales, customer service, marketing, research, legal and compliance to successfully launch new products and effectively onboard and engage end users.
  • Experience includes establishing analytics and reporting frameworks to support tracking of KPIs as well as measuring and reporting performance across different critical metrics.
  • Entrepreneurial with a strong inclination towards action, with experience in Agile Scrum.
  • Ability to communicate complex and innovative concepts with proven experience in data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to be self-directed and to proactively anticipate problems and seek opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 8+ years of relevant product, analytics and technology development experience within the personal lines auto insurance industry and in an Agile environment.
  • Deep understanding of insurance company requirements spanning the auto insurance value chain including quoting and renewal processes and regulatory and filing requirements.

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $121, ,650.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
