We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our all-star team Since re-opening TRAILSIDE BAR & RESTAURANT (Owls Head, NY) in February we have been absolutely rocking, the community loves having us back and have shown their full support.

Working closely with our tenured chef to execute our menu and develop new and exciting dishes. Nights and weekend required.

Duties:

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
  • Assist in meal preparation according to recipes or as directed by the chef
  • Cook food items by grilling, frying, baking, or sautéing as instructed
  • Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, and organizing supplies
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food production
Adhere to food safety standards and regulations at all timesSkills:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant kitchen
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
  • Culinary skills including menu planning and meal preparation
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
