General Job Functions:
  • Ensure consistent high standards of work and detail orientation managing the team's needs for training and matches.
  • Manage and maintain the club's kit requirements for both matchday and training, which includes preparing the matchday kits. This involves making sure that all kits are sufficiently washed, dried and folded ready to go out for matches or training.
  • Organize and manage the process of kit distribution.
  • Responsible for kit stock levels; this will include regular stock checks.
  • Handles the ordering of kits, providing information on quantities, sizes, etc.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all of the equipment required for matches and training are available and in excellent condition for use.
  • Prepares and sets up locker room and Coaches' Room for all games home and on the road.
  • Works closely with coaches, trainer and business office to ensure operational details needed for players are communicated and occur.
  • Engage in operational duties assigned that assist in the day-to-day running of the training complex.
  • Responsible for being the "hub of information" for players professional needs.
  • Works in tandem with coaching staff and administrative offices assisting with administrative paperwork and duties as it relates to the players.
  • Assists in the onboarding and offboarding process for both domestic and international players which includes living arrangements, assisting players with the initial set up of the administrative details of their living arrangements, bank accounts (foreign players) and obtaining social security cards (foreign players).
  • Always possesses a valid driver's license to transport equipment from training complex to stadium, drive team vehicles from El Paso to other markets as well as rental cars.
  • Manages the locker room areas at both stadium and complex clean, organized and safe for players/coaches, ensuring show ready standards always.
  • Works in tandem with baseball staff as it relates to the locker room on coordination efforts for switching sports.
  • Communicates effectively with various departments to ensure all team and building needs are met according to Company standards.
Training Day Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management and preparation of equipment needs for one or more of the team's players and staff.
  • Organizes and prepares player lockers with equipment prior to training.
  • Helps coaching staff/medical staff deliver equipment to field prior to the start of training.
  • Collects and inventories all training equipment daily.
  • Washes all training kits immediately following training.
  • Responsible for organization and appearance of equipment room, locker room, and common area.
  • Stock up nutrition station, water and Gatorade.
  • Fill up practice balls.
  • Provide practice gear.
  • Takes equipment on/off field.
  • Fill up post practice ice baths.
  • Assist coaching staff as needed with other duties.
Match Day Responsibilities
  • Transports equipment to/from stadium and training facility.
  • Set up game kits for the match.
  • Cleans all gear and kits post-match.
  • Sets up the team dressing room prior to each match.
  • Responsible for ensuring players and staff follow league rules and protocols regarding equipment regulations.
  • Facilitates referee equipment requests.
  • Assist with accommodating visiting team equipment requests as the home team.
  • Prepares and places all the field equipment to the field prior to warm-up.
  • Organizes and cleans up the team bench and locker room areas, towels, equipment, water, ice, and fourth officials table when home team.
Team Travel
  • Coordinates with technical, medical, and administrative staff to ensure that all travel coordination is organized related to equipment: laundry, equipment, airport transfers, and luggage.
  • Transports equipment to/from airport.
  • Assist coaches with training for players not traveling.
  • Wash/dry practice gear/towels and all kits upon return.
Physical Demands & Working Environment:
  • Required to work long hours standing and walking around during season and events.
  • Requires physical labor, including lifting up 50 lbs or more.
  • Sitting, standing, walking, reaching with arms and hands, climbing, balancing, stooping, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, kneeling, or crouching are all part of this position.
  • Must be able to handle weather related elements such as rain and heat.
  • Travel locally as needed.
