The position is located in the Office of Research, Evaluation, Investigations, & Audit (OREIA) is responsible for ensuring that CSOSA conducts the highest level of research; program evaluation; and its employees adhere to the highest ethical principles; conducts its business in compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as all laws, rules, and regulations, including those governing the prevention of employee misconduct, waste, fraud, and abuse.
DutiesServes as the senior official for planning, policy, and program activities related to Research, Program Evaluation, Investigations, and Audits and services.
Decides on the scope of work for subordinate staff responsible for a variety of Research, Program Evaluation, Investigations, and Audits functions and programs.
Delegates the work of staff while ensuring effective operations and communications of program initiatives throughout the Research, Evaluation, Investigations, and Audits (OREIA).
Serves as CSOSA's primary representative in meetings with high-level officials to present and negotiate strategies for Research, Program Evaluation, Investigations, and Audits programs.
Monitors new and proposed legislation and regulations for impact on CSOSA program activities. Applies current awareness of emerging trends and developments in Research, Program Evaluation, Investigations, and Audits and activities.
Participates in task forces and committees to respond to Congressional and regulatory inquiries.
Performs the full range of executive and managerial duties, assuming and exercising leadership responsibility for the Research, Program Evaluation, Investigations, and Audits mission and functions.
Supervises subordinate Senior executives and technical program staff (responsible for a wide range of program areas including program analysis and quality assurance) and staff involved in administrative functions.
Serves as a member of the Executive team, responsible for providing expert advice and recommendations to the Agency Director.-
