You will be responsible for development of Business Intelligence and Reporting applications. Your focus will be to continuously develop and enhance BI Reports in our OBIEE, Tableau and Power BI platform. The Senior BI Reporting Developer will work very closely with members of various business groups, the development team and perform analysis and development to support new and existing operational reports.

The role is based out of Smithfield-RI or Westlake-TX

The Team

FIAM business unit is a distribution/client service organization dedicated to the institutional marketplace. This is one of the largest organizations serving the U.S. institutional marketplace with more than $350 billion in assets under administration and over 650 institutional customers. We serve as a gateway to Fidelity's broad and deep institutional investment management capabilities.

You will be part of a tremendously hardworking and diverse team responsible for building and maintaining multiple environments. You will be part of a team that has a passion for technology tempered by a level-headed approach to problem solving, and experience with build and deployment software.

This position requires excellent communication skills, ability to work across a culturally diverse teams, providing release/production support on need basis. This is an exciting and challenging position for anyone who can think beyond the obvious. This role requires strong business and system analysis background and mindset in building and implementing technology solutions.

The Skills/Expertise You Have

  • Bachelors or master's degree in a Business/ technology related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Software) required
  • Minimum 5 years development experience in financial services focused on Asset management business
  • 3+ years of experience using OBIEE, Tableau or other similar analysis tool to develop self-service reports and dashboards
  • Proven experience performing complex data analysis using SQL on oracle database and Excel
  • Experience in delivering software in the Agile environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, allowing you to interview Business partners to understand objectives, use cases and requirements
  • Strong analytical skills, enabling you to research, document and review existing systems and recommend designs for achieving requirements for self-contained projects within a larger program

Desired/Good to have Skills

  • Knowledge of Cloud, Big Data Concepts and tools – AWS, Data Lake, Snowflake is a plus
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
