What are we looking to add to our team?

SeekOut is looking for Senior Platform Engineers to join our growing engineering organization. This role involves working with core Search infrastructure, API development and building modules that interact with different data pipelines. The components and algorithms you design will handle billions of transactions and do so with sub-second latency and in a fault tolerant manner. We are looking for candidates who share a passion for tackling large scale challenges and building platforms that can scale through multiple orders of magnitude. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading designs of major software components, systems, and features
  • Building high scale, low latency infrastructure and APIs
  • Driving features end-to-end from ideation to delivery working closely with other Engineers and Product managers
  • Providing technical leadership, coaching and mentoring

What you will be doing:

  • Working across Project Management, Product and Engineering teams to design and build features.
  • Taking ownership of a feature area and delivering consistent improvements
  • Writing clean code with unit tests.
  • Participating in code reviews.

You will be a great match if you have:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience across multiple complete software development lifecycles
  • Experience building production infrastructure with Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Experience designing and implementing high scale infrastructure such as data pipelines and serving infrastructure
  • Experience in C# and Python are preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience

Base Salary Hiring Range: $130,960 to $170,250 annually.
