We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Leadership Level Account Executive in our Healthcare Practice to sell the full suite of Cognizant's services and solutions (including Custom Application Development, Engineering & Testing Services, Infrastructure Solutions, Business Consulting Services, etc.) into Healthcare Payer organizations.

This role will have responsibility for pursuing major accounts within the Healthcare sector. Accounts will typically be oriented geographically to location but may include marquee accounts throughout the U.S. Service offerings will include Application Development & Maintenance, Business Process Outsourcing, and Information Technology Outsourcing. The Senior Account Executive will work with a Client Partner and team that will support all Sales pursuits. An offshore team will support all targeted marketing into designated accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Pursue major accounts within the Healthcare provider sector. Accounts are both existing accounts and new logos.
• Act as the account lead on assigned accounts, setting the sales strategy and taking overall responsibility for developing and nurturing the client relationship.
• Drive growth through hunting new opportunities. Hunter mentality required
• Build and manage client relationships. Manage the shaping and closure of opportunities on assigned accounts, leveraging Cognizant specialists to support as necessary.
• Serve as day-to-day contact for the client where there is thin coverage of Client Partner support.
• Scale accounts at pace. - Healthcare hospital systems - (PROVIDER).

• Minimum 15 years' experience selling consulting services into the Healthcare domain. (Hospital Systems - (Provider).
• Minimum 7 years' experience working for a Global Consulting Firm, Onshore/Offshore sales with minimum of $4M annual quota. (This may vary depending on the maturity of the Vertical that the AE is selling for)
• Extensive healthcare and life sciences business domain expertise.
• Minimum 15 years' experience selling similar Service Offerings – Applications Development & Maintenance, Business Process Outsourcing, and Information Technology Outsourcing.
• Demonstrated success selling deals in the $5 to $50M range. - HUNTER - Direct seller - New Logos Healthcare (provider) - with history selling and closing healthcare solutions and services in the TEXAS location THIS IS A MUST
• Demonstrated consecutive quarterly and yearly quota achievement in complex selling environments utilizing a solution selling model.
• 4-year bachelor's degree or equivalent required
