Position Overview:
As a Surgical Technologist at Summit Orthopedics, you play a crucial role in supporting surgical procedures and ensuring patient safety. Your expertise in sterile and aseptic techniques, combined with knowledge of human anatomy and surgical technologies, contributes to the success of invasive procedures performed by physicians. - Demonstrates proficiency in sterile techniques in the surgical suite
- Prepares operating rooms and sterile fields for procedures
- Participates in ensuring patient safety and surgical team needs
- Handles contaminated instrumentation and equipment appropriately
- Contributes to a positive surgical experience for patients
- Previous experience or enrollment in a Surgical Technologist program
- Current BLS certification and willingness to obtain certification within one year of hire
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role
- Commitment to professional development and patient care
- Stable Monday to Friday schedules
- No weekend shifts or on-call duties
