They cater to various sectors including passenger vehicles, commercial trucks, and off-highway equipment by offering original-equipment manufacturing and aftermarket support through a widespread network of engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.

*FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE NECESSARY*

Material Handlers play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and accurate movement of materials and finished products within the facility to meet customer demands.

Currently seeking candidates for 2nd shift (2:45 pm - 10:45 pm). The hourly pay is $18.50, with an additional 30 cent shift differential.

Responsibilities:

  • Transport materials and inventory to designated areas utilizing various equipment like forklifts, tuggers, pallet jacks, etc.
  • Manage in-process inventory by distributing and unpacking materials and supplies at workstations
  • Dispose of scrap materials like bracing, cardboard, and strapping in a proper manner; uphold a clean and safe work environment.
  • Organize inventory by identifying, labeling, and stocking materials; document inventory locations.
  • Confirm shipment details and special instructions; expedite shipments impacting the manufacturing schedule.
  • Prepare shipped products by selecting, packaging, crating, loading, and securing the items.
  • Document and track received and shipped materials, recording key transaction details such as dates and locations.
  • Perform cycle counts to validate material quantities for accuracy.
  • Utilize industrial trucks and material handling equipment to load finished goods for customer shipments.
  • Execute other tasks assigned by the management team.

Requirements:

  • Preferably a High School Diploma or GED qualification.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Capable of prolonged standing and walking periods.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication.
