The Americas (AME) Business Intelligence Region Business Process Expert (RBPE) VIE is responsible for supporting efficient operations and continuous improvements of sites for all Product Lines through effective adoption/control/monitoring of GSI (Alstom's Enterprise Resource Planning solution) systems, processes, data and applicable Business Intelligence tools.

The Business Intelligence RBPE VIE supports reporting, dashboard and tool requirements and solutions for all functions/métiers using GSI and landscape systems + supporting data.

Responsibilities

Support RBPEs as required to accomplish the following objectives:

  • Assess/prioritize GSI data reporting, tool, and KPI dashboard needs; Facilitate solutions to meet needs
  • Identify/quantify automated reporting labor-saving opportunities; Facilitate solutions to provide savings
  • Work with experts to determine the best tool, data source and technical solution for the requirements
  • Maximize use of (1) existing and (2) common solutions across all Product Lines and AME sites
  • Collaborate with all métier RBPEs and other experts to ensure solutions for all functions/métiers
  • Maximize use of existing global solutions as applicable
  • Work with other RBPEs to ensure GSI Change Requests are requested where that is the best solution
  • Work with stakeholders/experts to maximize solution value versus cost to provide
  • Facilitate and/or participate in solutions development and/or testing as needed
  • Consolidate/prioritize/report open points; Support problem resolutions and SNOW ticket management
  • Identify/facilitate needed solution enhancements
  • Provide necessary training/documentation to ensure solutions awareness and effective use
  • Work with métier RBPEs to ensure required KPI reporting and supporting process/tools are understood
  • Provide cross-training to other AME RBPE team members as needed
  • Successfully collaborate with BPOs, RBPE team, KUs, other streams, region PLs and IS&T partners

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering, Science or related field
  • Leadership and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Data-oriented mindset with digitalization focus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
  • Ability to perform in ambiguous & challenging situations, effectively cope with change, meet challenging deadlines on simultaneous projects while effectively managing risk and uncertainty
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment
  • Fluent in English

Desired Characteristics

  • Understanding of Business Intelligence and experience with related tools
  • Experience in industrial, supply chain, finance, sourcing or quality
  • Experience with SAP systems
  • Understanding of business operations
