REPORTING TO: Facility Manager
PRIMARY FUNCTION OF POSITION:
Troubleshoots repairs, and performs preventative maintenance of industrial production machinery. Will use hand tools to install, adjust, mount, and maintain equipment. Also

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Must be able to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair both electrical and mechanical functionality of industrial machinery.
Candidate must have good corrected visual acuity to do close visual inspection, and to perform the fine control of hand tools.
Requirements:EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Experience with operation and maintenance of placement machines, ovens, and soldering equipment.
Should be familiar with electronic servo controls, temperature controllers, conveyors and drive mechanisms, and have ability to use instruments designed to analyze the control circuits.
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the electronics assembly field.
Must be able interpret mechanical drawings and schematics to practical repair.
Works without direct supervision.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have good corrected visual acuity to do close visual inspection, able to walk, access the service areas of machinery without assistance, lift a minimum of 40 lbs., use arms, shoulders and hands to apply torque, and to maintain fine control of hand tools.
Candidate must be able to walk, sit, and/or stand for extended periods of time.
