POSITION OVERVIEW

SunWorks is looking for a world-class marketing and event coordinator to play a pivotal role in supporting our organization's growth and success. This is a dual role supporting both internal company events and external marketing efforts. You will assist in designing and coordinating annual learning and development summits for employees while also supporting digital marketing initiatives for our sales and talent acquisition teams. This role will involve close collaboration with department heads, business unit leaders, and sales leaders across the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and facilitate executive offsites, training summits, workshops, and other learning activities both in-person and virtually.
  • Provide logistical support for training activities, including scheduling, venue coordination, and participant communications.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and maintain content and materials for training programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of training programs through feedback, surveys, and other metrics, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Use SunWorks' learning management system (LMS) to track training participation, completion, and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate marketing projects and activities, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
  • Support sales leaders in the creation of marketing materials, such as presentations, brochures, and sales collateral.
  • Support sales and talent acquisition teams in developing compelling digital content across company websites and social media platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing or event coordination role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, techniques, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and social media platforms.
  • Creative thinker with strong written and verbal communication skills.
