DESCRIPTION

Guide the Vision for Startups

Do you love reading about tech startups and product design? Do you find yourself making the comment "that interface looks like it's from the 90s?" Have you ever drawn an app wireframe on the back of a napkin? Come work for ThinkNimble

Our Product Managers work with our engineers to deliver high-quality software to our clients. There's a tactical aspect of this: where you have to make sure that the wireframes, the requirements, the data diagrams and the roadmap is in place. But there's also the strategic aspect of this: where you work with our clients to help them build the right thing. You think through their business goals, you review their pitch deck, and you guide them in the right direction.

It's a bit of everything: technical management, client management, design, and business strategy. But, at the end of the day: our clients have a dream to build a product, and you're the one that organizes the resources to make that happen well.

We ask our product managers to have the following characteristics:

You need to be a great learner. This, hands down, is the most important thing you can bring to the table. You will need to be willing to work hard to learn what you don't know.
You should be passionate about the startup space. You should know what it takes to build something. You don't need to be an engineer, but you should be able to "talk the talk." You should know how apps work and how engineers build them. You should have opinions on good design.
You should be very comfortable working with clients. You will be working all day with our clients, and they'll grow to think of you as a member of their team. You should be energized by that.
