GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT:

The Clinical Research Assistant works under general supervision to perform administrative and clinical support for multiple clinical trials.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following job duties will be performed under supervision by the Program Manager:
  • Assists Clinical Research Coordinators with performing EKGs and vital signs
  • Collects receipts and submits reimbursement for clinical trial participants
  • Maintains kit inventories and clinical research supplies.
  • Obtains outside records
  • Assists with scanning of source documents
  • Prepares research supplies for protocol visits
  • Processes and ships blood and tissue samples per IATA guidelines
  • Coordinate, obtain, process, and orders placed by the investigator and research team
  • Provides administrative support duties
SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
  • Careful attention to detail
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy

  • High School diploma preferred
