JOB FUNCTION, TASKS, and RESPONSIBILITIES:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow proper payroll procedures.
Sort, count and record all linens into different classifications in different laundry baskets.
Receive, store, and distribute clean linen from the laundry.
Keep all laundry carts and working areas clean and organized.
Communicate all information to the next shift as well as a supervisor.
Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
Candidate must have previous commercial laundry experience in hotel environment.
Must have knowledge of laundry processes and equipment, such as high-capacity washers/dryers and flat work ironer.
Candidate must have the ability to use cleaning agents, products, and equipment to maintain work area.
Must have the ability to interact with all employees and guests in a professional manner.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills needed.
Must be able to work all shifts inclusive of weekends and evenings.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

NOTE: All requirements are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities.

Position: * Position requires standing for long periods of time

Force: * Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 75 pounds
