Job Summary

We are seeking a highly flexible and detail-oriented On Call Room Attendant to join our team at the New York Athletic Club. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure that our guest rooms are clean and ready for occupancy.
  • Complete a room quota of 13 rooms daily, with a focus on attention to detail and quality of work.
  • Use cleaning and disinfecting solutions to wipe down, clean, and disinfect surfaces, including sinks, toilets, and showers.
  • Operate a vacuum, dusting pole, and other equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Organize and maintain a working cart and closet, ensuring that all necessary supplies are readily available.
  • Remove dirty linens from beds and replace with clean sheets, and place dirty linen in laundry bins.
  • Replace guest room amenities, including soap, shampoo, and mouthwash.
Requirements
  • Ability to work 7 hour shifts with 1/2 hour break time.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to complete a room quota of 13 rooms daily.
