Job Description:

This job is responsible for overseeing assigned areas of audit work acting as an Auditor-in-Charge (AIC), and executing on the audit strategy for Lines of Business (LOBs). Key responsibilities include driving risk-based auditing by defining scope and test procedures to evaluate the control environment in conformance with audit policies, assessing issues for business impact and recommending severity ratings, drafting audit reports, and managing business partner relationships. Job expectations include fostering an inclusive work environment, and mentoring team members.

Reporting to a Director, the Audit Manager role is responsible for providing independent and objective assurance to improve the organization s operations and compliance with key regulations by evaluating the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. This role will manage a team of auditors in performing independent testing of high profile, enterprise-wide focus areas, which will provide opportunities to further develop subject matter expertise in specialized areas that are in high demand.

Audit teams work alongside the Treasury, Finance, and Risk divisions to conduct reviews of the Company s following processes:

Capital adequacy / managementEnterprise capital stress testingU.S. standardized and advanced approaches capital calculationsBaseline forecasting Responsibilities:Executes audit strategy for the sound application of risk-based auditing by defining audit scope and audit programs, and drafting audit reports leveraging automation and innovative methods in a timely and high quality mannerActs as Auditor-in-Charge (AIC) by overseeing audit testing and ensuring it is executed in a timely manner and conforms with quality standards, audit policies, and proceduresAssesses impacts to business processes, controls, and strategies to provide recommendations on severity ratings and escalate broad themes or trends accordingly based on existing business knowledgeExercises intellectual curiosity and judgment to effectively influence and challenge management to improve the control environment and drive continuous improvements on auditOversees a team of associates and provides day-to-day mentoring and guidance and fosters an inclusive work environmentMaintains business partner relationships, primarily with line management, to develop business knowledgeExercises sound knowledge of product, business, and technical expertise to effectively challenge management to improve the control environment Required Qualifications: Minimum 8-10 years of Audit, Risk, Business Control, Compliance, Finance or other relevant experienceWorking knowledge of capital adequacy processes, capital stress testing, baseline forecasting, and / or U.S. capital rules (regulatory capital and calculation of risk weighted assets under the standardized and advanced approach)Ability to manage audit projects within a risk based audit methodology and provide coaching and training to junior associates within the teamSolid understanding of internal audit processes and methodology requirementsSound organizational, analytical, oral and written communication skills Self-starter, desire to learn able to teach others, positive attitude, exhibits flexibilityAbility to work in a very detailed mannerIntermediate Analytical / Automation Skills (SQL, SAS, Advanced Excel and Access)Proficiency in Microsoft Office ProductsBachelor s Degree or equivalent work experienceSkills:Audit PlanningCoachingInternal Audit ReviewIssue ManagementRisk ManagementBusiness AcumenCritical ThinkingProject ManagementRelationship BuildingWritten CommunicationsRegulatory RelationsTalent DevelopmentTechnical DocumentationWorkforce Diversity ManagementShift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week: 40
