Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Great opportunity to be part of a collaborative team where you will cross train on innovative product lines at KLA Support power distribution, cabling related EOL issues, PCA support and control systems on KLA inspection equipment. Develop the required documentation to support processes and provide training to the technicians, while working with technicians to solve sophisticated issues and provide unambiguous plan of action.
  • Focus on Electrical Engineering proficiencies of the Manufacturing Design Engineering Role, with system's applications, software, mechanics, pneumatics, power distribution.
  • Work with material team on the product cost reduction, EOL component replacement, relocation of manufacturing site, and any engineering support needed from them.
  • Evaluate and select replacement for (EOL) End Of Life electrical, electronic and electromechanical (EEE) components.
  • Approve replacements for EOL parts through Waiver process.
  • Work with internal collaborators to develop qualification and testing requirements.
  • Test and qualify electrical components and assemblies.
  • Engineering change orders, and management of test data entry and test specifications into KLA quality database platform.
  • Work with engineering in coordinating the release of new product launches.
  • Some travel may be required.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • System level power distribution experience
  • Cable and harness reliability repair and testing experience
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics
  • Knowledge of testing for an electrical subsystem.
  • Printed circuit boards (PCB/PCA) experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ORCAD, LabVIEW testing software experience a plus.
  • Ability to use Solidworks and Autocad is preferred.


Minimum Qualifications
Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
