Ardurra is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer-Drafter to join our team.

Primary Function:

Under general supervision from Electrical Group Manager, The Electrical Designer-Drafter will coordinate with Regional Lead CAD Technician, Electrical Engineers and Engineering Interns, and will assist in the design development and production. Opportunity for Hybrid schedule for ideal candidate.

Primary Duties

  • Assist in the design development for the electrical portions of water and wastewater treatment projects.
  • May visit site to determine dimensions and existing equipment.
  • Assist in the development of conduit routing for site plans and enlarged plans.
  • Assist in the develop of quantities for opinion of probable construction costs for electrical projects.
  • Assist in the development of control diagrams.
  • Coordinate with other engineering staff including P.E.'s, I.T.s and designers.
  • Coordinate with project manager and designers from other disciplines.
  • Assist in the development of Standards for the Electrical Group.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Educational preference for two-year associate degree related to drafting or electrical systems.
  • Preference of 5+ years designing-drafting for the electrical facilities.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • A preference for also having working knowledge of Plant 3D, Civil 3D and MicroStation.
