ARCXIS is seeking a skilled Residential Electrical Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating electrical designs for residential structures, including load calculations, single line diagrams, and panel schedules.
Key Responsibilities- Develop electrical load calculations, single line diagrams, and panel schedules for residential structures
- Design and create power and lighting plans, site lighting/site power plans, and site photometric studies
- Collaborate with design staff and drafters to complete projects
- Utilize AutoCAD to generate detailed electrical design drawings
- Prepare construction documents and utilize Excel tables and formulas to assist in electrical load calculations
- BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent comparative experience
- Preferred 3+ years' experience in electrical design for residential building systems, code compliance, and construction
- Electrical design experience with producing electrical load calculations, single line diagrams, and panel schedules
- Experience with mid-rise multifamily buildings, mixed-use buildings, residential, and enclosed parking garages
