Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at CornerStone Technology Talent Services. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and documenting electrical systems using CAD software, selecting and evaluating test measurement hardware, and analyzing signal integrity and designing conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Document Electrical Systems: Utilize CAD software to design and document electrical systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the design process.
  • Select and Evaluate Test Measurement Hardware: Assess and select test measurement hardware to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Analyze Signal Integrity and Design Conditioning Systems: Analyze signal integrity and design conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Support Production and Ensure Quality Standards: Support production teams and ensure that parts and systems meet quality standards.
  • Manage Project Deliverables: Manage project deliverables within time and budget constraints, ensuring timely completion and quality results.
  • Assist in Job Proposals: Assist in job proposals by estimating materials and labor, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead continuous improvement initiatives for tools and processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage Hardware Configurations: Manage hardware configurations using revision control systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Mentor Junior Engineers: Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
Qualifications
  • 10+ Years of Experience: 10+ years of experience in electrical test systems design, with a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, with a focus on test and measurement systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD Tools: Proficiency in electrical CAD tools, such as Altium, AutoCAD, and Solidworks Electrical.
  • Experience with RF Measurement: Experience with RF measurement, industrial controls, and simulation software, such as Simulink and Matlab.
  • Strong Troubleshooting Skills: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a resourceful approach to resolving complex issues.
  • Experience with LabVIEW and TestStand: Experience with LabVIEW and TestStand, with a strong understanding of programming principles and practices.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Export-Controlled Work: Must be eligible for export-controlled work, with a U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
  • DOD and Government Contracts: Experience with DOD, government, and aerospace contracts, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance.
