Product Designer

Join the dynamic team at MIT Technology Review as a product designer, where you'll have the exciting opportunity to influence the user interface of various digital platforms. From editorial tools to web interfaces, digital magazines, and marketing materials, you will play a key role in creating visually appealing and user-friendly designs.

As a product designer, your responsibilities will include translating brand elements into sleek and intuitive user interface components, presenting innovative design solutions that make use of typography, iconography, and visual composition, and developing design patterns to ensure consistency across all products. You will also be involved in creating wireframes, mockups, and design systems, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring your creative ideas to life.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in design, fine arts, or a related field
  • Minimum of three years' experience in digital product design
  • Proficiency in user interface design tools such as Figma, Flinto, etc.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and current industry trends
  • Strong visual design skills with attention to detail
  • Experience with UI prototyping and motion design
  • Ability to think creatively, propose innovative design concepts, and take risks
