Services Product Management Lead

As our Services Product Management Leader, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of the converged service portfolio, including but not limited to implementation, support, security, clinical/technical operational services, adoption (customer success) services, and capability education services. You will be responsible for the growth and success of our services product portfolio, involving designing, developing, and executing product strategies aligned with our business goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, engineering, and customer support, to create and implement competitive service product roadmaps, ensure product quality, and deliver measurable results.

Your role:

  • Leads service product management through innovative service products' ideation, development, launch, sustainability, and serviceability.
  • Defines Service Product Portfolio Vision: define a clear and compelling vision for the service product portfolio. Responsible for setting the vision and timeline for one or several products and ensuring that it aligns with the overall business strategy. The vision is based on an identified problem and a visualized solution focusing on the long-term and the issues to solve. The path to achieving the vision must be adapted to the market, customer, and other relevant factors. Validate vision and employ tactics such as testing the market, viability and need, business viability, and feasibility.
  • Defines Service Product Portfolio Strategy: Define and execute the overall services product strategy and roadmap for HPM's Services portfolio. Rationalize existing service portfolio to create a services continuum. Utilize customer, segment, and market insights as provided by the MI&A team for decision-making on portfolio
  • Responsible for lifecycle management (including phase-in and phase-out) and market readiness as part of PDLM. Ensure completion of appropriate deliverables and knowledge transfer (feature descriptions, value propositions, costing/pricing/quoting materials, etc.)
  • Accountable for compliance with quality & regulatory requirements
  • Monitors service portfolio performance and create and maintain relevant metrics to track progress and guide portfolio decisions. Maintain and evolve the current services portfolio while meeting or exceeding operating and financial goals. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and effectiveness of service products and iterate on strategies to optimize performance.
  • Orchestrates cross-functional activities to design service products that deliver new value in new ways for customers. Translate the converged service portfolio strategy into defined service products/offerings. Partner and align with regional leaders, other category product management leaders, and service delivery management on an integrated roadmap in early-stage ideation to ensure the effective delivery of all services.

You're the right fit if:

  • You've acquired 10+ years in software product or service product management, managed service business, with a track record of successfully managing and launching products. Also have practical experience with lean startup, corporate venturing, business development, customer operations, and product development. Being an experienced leader with a managed service provider, managing or delivering information technology (IT) services like infrastructure, security, networking, and applications in an ongoing and remote manner is an advantage.
  • You have managed teams of at least 5 or more people providing mentorship, team coaching & development opportunities, hiring/resourcing and resolving issues/problems. Your skills include leading product management, successfully launching and managing complex products throughout the entire lifecycle; experience setting up and managing attribute-based product structures for definition and management is an advantage; high degree of services process acumen and capability development, deployment, and management at a central level and across markets; demonstrated use and application of product management tools and processes, including proficiency in agile methodologies, product lifecycle management, market research techniques, and data analysis; Agile Product Development processes (PDLM, PDLM-S, PSSGP, other) and business model innovation experience or management of recurring revenue (consumption/subscription) type products.
  • You have a Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred in business administration, economics, computer science, IT, engineering, or related field.

  • You also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, including collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders at all levels, managing interfaces with virtual global teams, and managing effectively within a matrix organizational structure. This includes reporting proactively to Senior Leadership. Demonstrated leadership abilities, including inspiring and motivating teams to achieve ambitious goals. Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing product management teams, with business cases and metrics as proof of results. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset, capable of driving innovation and continuous improvement while creatively driving problem-solving methodologies amongst the team. Familiarity with customer experience design, research, processes, and best practices.
