Access Control Specialist, Full Time: 2nd Shift

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage the flow of employees and visitors entering and exiting restricted areas, ensuring only authorized individuals gain access.
- Prevent the movement of prohibited items in and out of the premises.
- Maintain a vigilant watch over designated areas.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all individuals on-site.
- Stay attentive and observant of surroundings.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills in all interactions.
- Pay close attention to detail.
- Independently handle responsibilities during assigned shifts.
- Adapt to varying paces in high-volume, fast-paced, and slower-paced environments.

Minimum Requirements:
- Active Top-Secret Clearance is mandatory.
- Availability for 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:00pm +/- 1 hour) Monday - Friday required as part of 24/7 operations support.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly is essential.
- Possession and upkeep of a valid state driver's license.
- High School diploma or GED completion.
- US citizenship is a must.
- Residence within a 75-mile radius of Annapolis Junction, MD.
- Willingness to work at varying locations within a 10-15 mile range of Annapolis Junction Business Park.
- Fluency in the English language - speaking, reading, and comprehension.
- Comfort with leaving personal mobile devices at home or in the vehicle while at work due to restricted mobile communication zones.
- Availability for 2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday per year as specified by Amentum.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Possess 20/20 vision or corrective lenses, with close vision correctable to Jaeger No. 4 type test for both eyes.
- No color blindness.
- Normal fields of vision and strong depth perception according to the Snellen chart.
- Correctable hearing to normal levels or below 0 decibels via hearing aids.
- Ability to stand continuously for 4-hour periods.
- Independently handle tasks during scheduled shifts.
- Adaptability to changing demands in a fast-paced environment.
