Job Description

For more than 33 years KLD Labs, Inc., has provided innovative machine vision solutions tailored for railway customers' monitoring, measurement, inspection, condition-based maintenance, and asset management needs. We are looking to hire Electronic Assemblers for our manufacturing production located in Hauppauge, NY. We are an equal-opportunity employer in a stable industry. Responsibilities for our electronic assemblers include:
Detailed soldering and assembly of electro-mechanical componentsHarnesses and cables for our production departmentMaterial/manufacturing assembly.Adjust or repair electrical and manufacturing equipment.Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits.

Qualifications Required (Skills)

Requirements for our electronic assemblers include:Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experienceExperience with manufacturing processes such as Assembly/Wiring/Soldering/CrimpingMechanical assembly and/or inspection experience. Highly proficient with industry-standard technician and assembly toolsMust be able to work from written and oral instructions.Must be fluent in spoken and written English.Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications Desired

Experience working with relevant manufacturing tools such as bandsaw, drill press, hand drill, etc..Able to read part drawings and schematicsAdvanced mechanical assembly experiencePossess working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, in particular Excel
