Overview:


The Engineering Aide IV will be responsible for ensuring quality and functionality of our products through controlled assembly processes or through rigorous testing procedures.

This role requires a strong technical acumen, hands-on talent and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**- Prepare and operate a wide variety of standard assembly or test equipment consisting of multiples of measurement and assembly tools, generators, oscilloscopes, amplifiers, etc. to ensure or verify high quality subassemblies and systems in accordance with available instructions and specifications

  • Complete and update equipment records, job work orders and other project documentation
  • Performs the setup, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies
  • Verifies and analyzes test results against acceptability criteria
  • Complies with a variety of documents including test specifications, wiring diagrams, schematics, etc. and make necessary recommendation for edit or change in test procedures and specifications
  • Engage with engineering for process improvements and new product development
  • Engage as a partner and mentor to peers

Qualifications:

  • To join us you'll need:

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the Electronics or Aerospace Industry
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law
  • Mathematics (Intermediate)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced)
  • Computer-Aided Drafting or Design Software (Intermediate)
  • Time Management (Advanced)

$30.70 hourly - $37.62 hourly_
