To help us drive excellence, you'll get to:

· Coordinates the administration of associate benefit programs such as medical and prescription coverage, dental insurance, group life insurance, retirement plans, health and wellness initiatives, and other benefit plans and programs.

· Analyze and provide advice to supervisors and managers on methods and approaches to resolve benefit problems.

· Consults with and advises associates on eligibility, provisions, and other matters related to benefits.

· Responsible for reviewing and maintaining plan documents and summary plan descriptions.

· Ensures legal plan compliance according to filed plan documents.

· Lead and/or support role on annual retirement plan audits.

· Ensures correct eligibility is transmitted to various vendors and administrators.

· Maintains eligibility reporting structure.

· Interface with external vendors to ensure maximum plan performance and customer service.

· Support vendor selection process including RFI and RFP processes.

· Lead and/or support role on benefit plan implementations.

· Track, analyze and maintain associate plan cost data.

· Request vendor payments.

· Maintains benefits records and documents.

· Support collective bargaining process with cost analysis data and benefit plan recommendations.

· Assist with development and distribution of benefit communications including employee presentations.

· Assists on special projects as needed such as open enrollment, audits, etc.

This full-time salary-exempt role is a part of our Corporate Benefits team and reports to the Sr. Benefits/Payroll Manager.

Required experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local benefits laws.
  • Time management, organization and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, listening, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Requires the ability to adapt to change and new priorities.
  • Requires objectivity when making decisions.
  • Professional certification a plus.
