Remote, Oregon, United States Render Networks Full time

Render's singular focus is best summarized by our purpose which is, to "continuously innovate and evolve technology to build networks better and connect communities."

Network infrastructure spend in the USA is forecast at more than $60B per annum over the next decade. So, the demand for technology-enabled efficiency and construction innovation is sizable and acute.

Render's market-leading platform is experiencing rapid adoption. In partnership with new majority partners IFM Investors, Render is perfectly positioned to build on existing momentum and realize significant growth.

IFM's investment empowers us to fast-track Render's next wave of customer product innovation for the global telecommunications sector. We are looking for an exceptional marketing leader to contribute to our high-growth journey.

Our entire team has a genuine passion for innovation and understands technology's role in enabling communities to connect and thrive globally. Our shared values shape everything that we do at Render. We cannot overstate how central the following six cultural statements are to our culture: Innovate for impact, Be Bold, Love what you build, Back yourself to win, Be the customer outcome, Stay open.

The role you will play:

The Partner Solutions Architect (PSA) is a hands-on, highly technical advisor who drives scale and accelerates customer outcomes through partner-delivered best practices and integration solutions leveraging the Render platform and APIs.

Working closely with our partners' technical stakeholders, engineers, developers, along with internal teams at Render, you will identify industry technical trends, develop integration strategies with partners, and build prototypes to facilitate the delivery of innovative solutions and services with our partners.

Reporting to the VP of Product & Partnerships, you will work hand-in-hand with technology partners and joint customers around the world, and will be responsible for educating them on our joint "better-together" product integration solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of system integration technologies, the ability to develop solution prototypes, and a collaborative approach with partner and internal development teams to engage and positively influence key technology and architecture decisions.

Who you are

  • Technical bachelor's degree and/or 5+ years experience within specific technology domain areas e.g. software development, API/middleware integration, cloud computing, or systems engineering
  • Experience working with or for system integrators and technology vendors leveraging APIs to develop applications
  • Experience with programming languages including Python, JavaScript, Go, .Net, Java, etc.
  • Understanding of spatial data concepts and experience with geospatial technologies such as GIS, CAD, remote sensing, or surveying
  • Track record of delivering proofs of concept, demonstrations, and/or scripts from scratch or leveraging reusable components, and articulating the architectural patterns and design principles behind the development
  • Experience architecting, migrating, or transforming customer requirements to develop solutions
  • Presentation and whiteboarding skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management, and developers
  • High ability to travel, including travel to partner sites and attendance at business reviews and meetings
  • Familiarity and previous work experience in the telecommunications, utilities, construction, or GIS domains a plus

'Reimagining connection':

At Render, we're 'reimagining connection' and enabling both our customers, and the communities they exist to serve, to reach their full potential. We do this by building world-class technology that improves: deployment speed, connectivity quality, and economic outcomes for some of society's most vulnerable families and communities.

Engagement is important to us at Render. We strive to ensure our people remain connected in thoughtful ways including:

Flexible working: We treat our employees as adults. They understand the importance of coming together to collaborate, innovate, and perform and we understand the importance of providing the flexibility to work remotely, connect virtually, and at different times

Professional development: In addition to having goal-oriented check-ins to ensure potential is realized and performance maximized, our culture focuses on supportive and robust development. Learning opportunities including: tech talks and guest speaker sessions are hosted regularly, and individual employees have customized training and development plans

Collaborative culture: We know big ideas can come from anyone. So, we encourage and empower everybody to share their ideas and expertise to feel valued and to make a positive impact

Technology investment: We work with leading technology platforms and enablement tools to support your success

Wellbeing focus: All people perform better when they're firing on all cylinders; health and wellness benefits are essential. Render supports all employees' wellbeing via our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and we encourage people to be themselves by creating an inclusive workplace

Employee benefits:

Parental leave: We offer competitive paid parental leave with 12 weeks of paid leave for Primary Caregivers and two weeks of paid leave for Secondary Caregivers

Health insurance: All US-based employees are eligible to participate in our United Healthcare health insurance plan

401k: Render offers 401k plans via TriNet and our partnership with Transamerica

At Render we celebrate diversity and promote equal employment opportunities in the workplace. Our open, transparent, and inclusive team culture provides a license for every individual to turn ideas into impact. We look for many different skills and abilities, as well as how you can enhance Render and our culture. So, even if you don't think you quite meet all of the skills listed or tick all the boxes, we'd still love to hear from you
