The Role and the Team

Proofpoint is actively seeking a skilled Supervisor of Operational Analytics to join our esteemed team within the Proofpoint People Centric Managed Services (PCMS) division. Within PCMS, we spearhead information protection initiatives, offering unparalleled insight into data risks through comprehensive analysis of content, behavior, and threats via a cutting-edge cloud-native console. By preventing data loss and optimizing operational efficiency, our team plays a pivotal role in safeguarding organizational assets.

Your day-to-day

• Lead and develop a team of security analysts specialized in data loss prevention, threat analysis, and endpoint forensics, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Manage the daily operations of the team, ensuring effective prioritization of tasks and adherence to deadlines.
• Spearhead innovation in cybersecurity data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and potential threats, leveraging advanced analytical techniques and tools.
• Compile and present detailed security reports to stakeholders, including senior management and clients, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
• Ensure the team is promptly responding to security incidents, investigating root causes, and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on security findings, incidents, and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
• Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and best practices, continuously enhancing knowledge and skills to adapt to evolving threats.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiencies, and optimize workflows within the analytics team to maximize effectiveness.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets as set out below. Pay within these ranges varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. The range provided may represent a candidate range and may not reflect the full range for an individual tenured employee. This role may be eligible for variable pay and/or equity. Base Pay Range: 73, ,690.00 USD

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:

Base Pay Range: 57, ,030.00 USD

All other cities and states excluding those listed above:

Base Pay Range: 53, ,880.00 USD
