E&S Property Operations Specialist/ Assistant

We are looking for an Operations Specialist and Assistant for our E&S Property team based in our New York or Atlanta (Alpharetta, GA) offices. This individual will also assist with projects and special assignments relating to client and employee activities.
About the Role:
- Maintain calendar; arrange travel, meetings, and conference calls, coordinate events. Work with Swiss Re event planners to book meetings
- Prepare external and internal reports and presentations using Word, PowerPoint, Power BI and/or Excel as needed. These reports include the compiling and sorting of client information, revenue and profitability, and presenting these reports to senior management.
- Support Head of E&S Property in managing post underwriting tasks such as account binding, amendments/endorsements, project risk management and claims coordination.
- Conduct preliminary deal analysis; prepare applicable account data for review by underwriter.
- Event Management: Work closely with Senior Management in E&S Property to coordinate internal and external events.
- Manage market collateral including print and merchandise. Coordinate the selection and ordering of client gifts, marketing materials and internal training documents.
- Manage entries in business tools: Outlook, One Drive, SharePoint, Metric Tracking spreadsheets and department websites. Update internal data bases for the team in the US and Zurich.
- Develop and maintain key contacts lists for leadership team and distribute group emails with direction from senior management.
- Assist in development and maintenance of Business continuity, safety and security plans.
- Liaison within the E&S team countrywide and other business units (Finance / Legal / Business Services / Claims) and be the internal go to person for project assistance as it relates to North American E&S Property.
About You:
You are comfortable managing multiple projects at once and have strong technical skills. You are highly detail oriented and very organized. Accuracy is a key part of this role. You're extremely agile and can adapt to constantly evolving priorities and enjoy leading ad hoc projects. You are able to multi-task effectively and meet deadlines.
You have administrative experience, but also are looking to expand your responsibilities and enjoy focusing on issues involving compliance, marketing, data analytics and are comfortable changing directions from one topic to another. You will work with the Head of E&S Property handling different projects. The position is a combination of in office and remote work.

For New York City the estimated base salary range for this position is $68,000 to $110,000. The specific salary offered for this or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget. At Swiss Re, we take a "total compensation approach" when making compensation decisions. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.
