Job Summary:

Strategically plans, organizes, and directs pharmacy services across Froedtert Health Pharmacy Solutions (FHPS) business lines. Serves as the operating executive responsible for the operational, financial, clinical oversight and business expansion and growth of all FHPS assets, including Froedtert Health Pharmacy LLC, Froedtert Health Home Infusion LLC, Vertu Rx, LLC, and any future business assets as assigned. Specifically, oversight for all owned and joint venture retail pharmacies, specialty pharmacy, home delivery pharmacy, home infusion pharmacy, medication access services, and PBM services. Business executive responsible for B2B and B2C strategies and execution across all FHPS business lines. Fosters strong partnerships and collaboration with external employer groups, business vendors, payers, manufacturers (pharma), government agencies, and the community at large. Negotiates contracts and strategic partnerships that further the mission and growth of FHPS. Provides strategic long-range planning and development for pharmacy services across FHPS in coordination with the Chief Pharmacy Officer and the FHPS board. Ensures that the goals and objectives of the FHPS business lines support the goals and objectives of the Froedtert Health system strategies. Participates in the evaluation, selection, and integration of health care technology and information management systems that support patient care needs and the efficient utilization of resources. Provides the leadership and direction to develop, recommend and implement programs, policies and procedures, and standards within the FHPS businesses. Provides leadership and establishes productive relationships with Froedtert Health administration, physicians, providers, nurses and service line and department heads to optimize all aspects of outpatient pharmacy services available within the health system. Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulatory and patient care quality standards. Develops, implements, and evaluates programs to promote recruitment, retention, development, and continuing education of FHPS personnel.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

Minimum 8 years pharmacy leadership and management experience, demonstrating progressive leadership development and competency.

Minimum of 5 years of experience directly managing people including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work; experience in leading team efforts within highly matrixed organizations.

Experience with contract negotiation and JV/partnership strategy.

Strong business and financial skills with experience successfully managing a large, multi-site departmental budget. Experience managing a P&L including budget development.

Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of patient satisfaction.

Basic level skill in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Bachelor's Degree, Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy is required. PharmD, Masters Degree preferred.
