Automotive Worker Training Leader

- Training Leader for the vocation skills training program.
- Repair and maintain fleet vehicles and equipment.
- Implements, monitors, and explains proper technical and trade techniques, procedures, methods, and processes.
- Instructs students in the use of shop machinery and life equipment and develops student knowledge and skill in the use of various automotive repair parts manuals, proper use of mechanical tools. Uses a variety of testing equipment.
- Cleans, repairs, or replaces defective parts using a variety of test equipment.
- Uses a variety of test equipment to determine defective parts and repairs required.
Conditions of Employment
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.

- Successful completion of one-year probationary period, unless previously served.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
