Pay Transparency Statement:

The compensation philosophy reflects the Company's reasonable expectation at the time of posting. We consider a number of factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business needs. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.

Position Summary:

The Lead Service Technician manages the maintenance, repairs and installations of a wide variety of equipment for the Field Service/Customer Care team. This position maintains an accurate parts inventory on their company-issued vehicle. The Lead Service Technician spends approximately 30% of their time driving a company-owned vehicle, 65% of their time on-site at restaurants and food service establishments, and 5% of their time in the classroom or meetings. This position supports the Field Service Supervisor with training and coaching to Service Technicians as well as on-site technical support.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
  • Train and coach Service Technicians as directed by the Field Service Supervisor
  • Provide on-site technical support to Service Technicians as needed
  • Calibrate and/or adjust equipment, i.e., check ratio to meet or
    exceed performance criteria and maximize business results
  • Maintain tools and equipment
  • Ensure company assets are in good condition to support effective response to mechanical or technical problems
  • Provide support to and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners
  • Conducts equipment and parts inventory assessment
  • Provide technical assessment of equipment to determine what components should be repaired or replaced to maximize equipment performance
  • Provide cold drink equipment repair services in customer outlets
  • Provide on-site technical support to team members as needed
  • Communicate discrepancies in regards to open Purchase Orders and Disputed Invoice Tracking System(DITS)
  • Troubleshoot cold drink equipment issues, i.e., dispensing, etc.
  • Provide technical advice for customers, business partners and service technicians in order to teach, provide expertise or validate equipment/parts or processes
  • Maintain positive customer relationships
  • Respond to emails and phone calls in a timely manner
  • Maintain clean and safe work area
  • Other projects or duties as assigned
