Overview
Dignity Health Medical Foundation is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation with care centers throughout California, Arizona, and Nevada. As an affiliate of Dignity Health, one of the largest health systems in the nation, we work hand-in-hand with physicians to provide comprehensive health care services. Our goal is to create purposeful work settings where staff can provide great care while advancing in knowledge and experience through challenging assignments and stimulating relationships.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, and improve the overall performance of care centers.
- Priority on patient-centric care consistent with Dignity Health's culture.
- Accountable for operational, financial, clinical, quality, and business development activities.
- Oversee the development of care centers and manage medical practice wide projects.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to achieve organizational goals.
- Safeguard patient health and financial information.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years of healthcare management experience.
- Strong ability to lead productive teams and manage provider relations.
- Knowledge of business and management principles, budget control, and accounting.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous out-patient practice management experience preferred.
- Previous management experience in a union environment preferred.
- Prior managed care or integrated delivery systems experience preferred.
- Master's degree in relevant field preferred.
